Lexi at 2 1/2 weeks

Big foot, little foot

Holding mommy's hand

Yummy fingers...

Little old bald man look

Frog legs

We had a little photo session with Lexi and got some really cute pictures. She is such a cute baby. We have been out and about alot so that I can show her off to all of my friends and to avoid getting cabin fever. It is amazing how a newborn keeps you busy. She is so much fun, and it is so awesome being a mommy. I absolutely love it.

Introducing Alexi Marie Hall!

Proud parents

What a cute face!

Alexi Marie was born on Tuesday, January 27th at 11:57 pm. My doctor broke my water at 1pm, and it took a while for Lexi to turn her head face down so that she could come down the birth canal. She weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces and is 19.5 inches long. She has quite a bit of blonde hair and absolutely gorgeous blue eyes. She looks like a perfect porcelain doll. Of course, I am biased, but everyone tells me how beautiful she is, even perfect strangers. I am such a proud mommy. She is such a good baby. We came home from the hospital on Thursday night, and my mom came to stay with us for the weekend. She was such a big help. It is amazing how busy I am with a newborn. Some days I barely have time to eat. If only I had a third or fourth hand. :)

Love,

Brooke and Lexi

Me and Grandpa Lindsey

Life is about to change. I am now 8 months pregnant. Alexi Marie is due February 1st, so less than a month to go. My pregnancy has gone very smoothly, with the exception of having insomnia. However, I am starting to get pretty uncomfortable. I think this last month is going to be very long and tiring as I can't seem to find a comfortable position to sleep. I am so excited to see my little girl and hold her in my arms. It is so funny to watch my belly as Lexi kicks and moves, and she gets hiccups almost daily.
Love,
Brooke
